People buy from people. An “Our team” page puts faces on your business and reassures visitors before they call, book or sign. Salons, medical practices, law firms, agencies and schools all benefit from it.
What to show for each person
- A good photo, consistent in style across the team.
- First and last name, role, and two or three specialties.
- A short bio, ideally with a human detail.
- Direct contact links when relevant: booking link, email, phone, LinkedIn.
Choosing a layout
- Grid of cards for most teams, three or four per row on desktop.
- List when bios matter, for example for doctors or lawyers.
- Compact for a short “Meet the team” section on the home page.
Showing the full profile in a pop-up keeps the page clean while letting curious visitors read more.
Building it
- Install Teamly and add each member with photo, role, specialties and links.
- Create groups (Reception, Stylists, Doctors) if you want to show only part of the team on some pages.
- Insert the Team block or

Members without a photo get their initials on a coloured background, so the grid never looks broken. Try the pop-up on the live demo.
Make the page work harder
Add a few client testimonials under the team and a clear call to action to book or contact. For local businesses, our guide to essential plugins shows the full setup.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a photo for every team member?
It is better, but members without a photo get their initials on a coloured background so the layout stays clean.
Can I show only part of the team on a page?
Yes. Put members in groups and display one group per page.
Can visitors book a specific team member?
Add a booking link to each profile so visitors can book directly with the person they choose.
